Tony Brook

Tony has over 30 years’ experience advising clients operating mainly in the sports, media, entertainment and retail sectors, and has a long standing and loyal client base.
He understands first-hand the opportunities and challenges faced by businesses, having played prominent roles in running law firms over the years and enjoying influential positions in other organisations including a successful sports management agency.
Tony was previously a founder partner of a Manchester city centre commercial law firm, and before that a partner in a leading national law firm.
Carol Thompson

Carol is a contract lawyer specialising in sports, entertainment, retail and leisure. She practiced in a Manchester city centre commercial law firm for several years prior to setting up nQ legal with Tony in 2012.
She has worked with a wide range of clients from small businesses to venue owners and operators, sports agencies and sports personalities. She has substantial knowledge and understanding of the sports and entertainment industries having practised in these areas for over 15 years.
Carol has become a key and trusted advisor to both individual and business clients, providing practical advice in a down to earth manner.

Mandy is our intellectual property law consultant. She is a specialist trademark attorney and IP law practitioner with 30+ years’ experience in the field of protecting and enforcing trademarks, copyright and designs worldwide. She advises a broad spectrum of clients across a range of industries, from large corporates to small companies and individuals, both in the UK and overseas.
Mandy provides practical and effective advice in a quick, clear and no fuss manner.
Anthony Robinson

Anthony is our employment law expert with almost 20 years’ experience in the field. He acts for both employers and employees advising on all aspects of employment law and workplace matters, including contracts, disciplinary matters, discrimination, redundancy exercises, TUPE issues, post-termination obligations and severance packages. Anthony also deals with tribunal claims, high court actions and appeals to the higher courts.
Anthony delivers first-rate advice and expertise and clients regularly compliment him for his approachable and understanding manner.
Amy Austin

Amy is our commercial property consultant. She specialises in sales, purchases, refinancing and lettings is accustomed to dealing with high value and complex cases as well as regular conveyancing transactions and leasehold matters. Amy also advises on all aspects of property development projects, large scale and small, including site acquisitions, associated infrastructure requirements and plot sales.
Amy provides sound practical advice in an efficient but relaxed manner.

Neil is a corporate finance lawyer with 25 years’ experience. His career spans advising on the full spectrum of lower to mid-market M&A transactions and all types of debt/equity funding. Keith Arrowsmith

Keith is an experienced charity lawyer, specialising in the cultural, creative, heritage, and educational sectors. He provides guidance and assistance on governance, intellectual property, business law, contracts, website regulations, as well as all aspects of charity law. He also contributes to workshops, planning days, talks, written reports, and other bespoke guidance.
Keith is a Governance Associate for the Clore Leadership Programme. He is one of the lead authors of the sector endorsed handbook, Governance in the Arts and Museums for Cultural Organisations and helped set up the Cultural Governance Alliance. In addition, he is a member of the Charity Law Association. Keith was played by actor Joel Fry in the recently-released Netflix film, Bank of Dave
Grace Taylor-Richardson

Grace is a dual qualified solicitor in both Singapore and the UK. She qualified in Singapore as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2011 and subsequently qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2015.
She has experience both in private practice and in-house and advises businesses on company and commercial matters. Grace advises on general corporate matters such as share and asset sale acquisitions, shareholders agreements, directors service agreements, share purchase agreements, and joint venture agreements. Grace also advises on a substantial array of commercial contracts, GDPR and DPA 2018 requirements, terms and conditions for services, introducer and reseller agreements, consumer rights, settlement deeds, and general company compliance.
